Juniper Berry

Good Day My Dears,

Our next one is a fruit that am not familiar with but seems delish, Juniper Berries.

Although I could not find much info on the actual fruit, there is a lot of information on the Hair Oil.

Here we go:

Juniper Oil for Healthy Scalp – Aroma.BG

Improves the appearance of greasy hair. Treat dandruff and hair loss. Strengthens the scalp.

Juniper – WellnessMama.com
Juniper berry has a fruity scent to it and blends well with both lemon and cedarwood essential oils. It’s helpful for overly oily hair and helps strengthen brittle strands. Juniper berry’s antiseptic properties help fight scalp conditions, and its astringent properties tone hair follicles to prevent hair loss.

Strengthen Hair – HealthBenefitsTimes.com

This particular essential oil provides an all natural cure for hair loss since it has got astringent qualities. Blend Juniper, Rosemary, Cedarwood Essential oil along with olive oil as well as massage to your scalp. Allow it sit for sometime and after that rinse it off. This particular oil will strengthen the roots while increasing hair growth. You may also combine it with an unscented conditioner or even shampoo and then use it frequently.

Reverse Hair Loss – BeautyMunsta.com
Many factors may contribute to the loss of hair. However, irrespective of what the cause of hair loss may be, Juniper essential oil is up to the task of fixing hair loss, thus promoting a growth of healthier hair strands. You can fix your hair loss problem by mixing equal volumes of juniper essential oil and jojoba essential oil together. Massage the mixture through hair and scalp thoroughly and allow the mixture sink in for some 15 minutes. Rinse off with cold water so that your hair can retain the nutrients present in the mixture.

Hello Sweeties,

Another week, another post and hoping you are all doing well.

Today we will review a fruit that have never had but looks delish, Elderberries.

Let us review the benefits:

  1. Improve Hair Health – The berries work great for your hair as well. You can take some elder-flower oil (you should be getting it in the market) and mix it with some of your other favorite oils. Apply on the problem areas of your scalp. The serum can treat split ends, problematic hairlines, and might even encourage hair growth. StyleCraze.com

Elderflower Oil Hair Serum – Bustle.Com

Elderflower and its oil can be a little pricy, but I couldn’t deprive my tresses of the nutrients my scalp needs to promote growth and circulation.

For this recipe, I used an ounce of my precious elder oil and then added some of my other favorite hair oils for the problem areas on my scalp.

This serum can be used on damaged ends, stubborn hairlines, or for a stimulating scalp massage to encourage hair growth.

Thanks Dears for visiting and if you are able to get Elderberries, make sure you try.

A Natural’s Girl Hair Story

Welcome to our April Blog Feature of a truly amazing naturalista, like a beautiful rose, every aspect of our girl is gorgeous, she is truly a sweet than honey.

May you enjoy her story:

Ms. Liz is our girl in Blue

Tell us a little bit of yourself, name, where you are from, your hobbies.

My name is Elizabeth Martinez.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles but now reside in Honduras.

My hobbies are, I love dancing and writing encouraging letter to friends and family.

What made you return and remain Natural?

I wanted to return natural for many years now, but I just couldn’t because my family, especially my Mom didn’t encourage it. The fear of my hair staying short, since my hair was very long at the time with perm or relaxer, made everyone scared. But when I moved to California for 2 years and later returned to Honduras, was determined to start a new chapter in my life. I felt that doing the Big Chop was a needed step or like a symbol of starting a new and fresh beginning.

Describe your Hair Care Maintenance for your tresses.

Here is the layout for this one:

  1. First off, my hair is only manageable with Purified Alkaline Water.
  2. Second, I make my own natural hair products with Coconut Water & Milk.
  3. Third, I also make my own mix of Aloe Vera Juice and Gel.
  4. Fourth, I also put make my own Homemade Coconut Oil.

So making and using all these natural products have helped a lot for the health of my hair. Using protective styles such as braids & twists and mixing all those products, works so well.

Can you name some of the challenges you have faced with your own hair?
I cannot say I have had many challenges. I think when you return natural, if you go into knowing your hair is free and wild, you will be ok. It is time consuming and it is not cheap to be natural, but it’s so worth it in the end to see the growth and the Beauty of our Hair.

Why do you truly love your Natural Hair?

I love my hair because it is Me. For instance, I can form and shape it any way I want, and desire and it works. It has allowed me to accept me as Me. I love my hair because when I see it, it reminds me of my parents as I have both textures from them in my hair and it’s just works, just like them hehehehehehehe.

Have you ever dealt with a hair tragedy, how were you able to recover?

Thankfully I have not had a hair tragedy. I think the only thing I can complain about is extensions with braids. I know it’s a protective style, but I try not to use as much, as I am a tender headed person so it damages my hair more than they protect it.

How can girls learn to properly care for their own unique tresses?

Trying different things and researching. I tried a lot of things such as store products as well as natural products to see what works best for me. So, in my case, practice makes somewhat perfect hehehehehehehe. Just have fun with your hair. Enjoy it while you got it, I say hahahahahahaha.

We thank you so much our Dear for you amazing story, the beginning may not have been easy but you rose up to the occasion and started a new chapter in your life and continues to be a truly beautiful one and your hair products sound absolutely awesome, you are going to have to share your hair recipes one day with us for sure. So girls, do you too want to know how to make your own Purified Alkaline Water, check out this link here on Healthy Kitchen – Alkaline Water, or reach out to Ms. Liz and ask for her own personal recipe.
