Hello Dears and here we are in June 2021 already!!!
Welcome back and let us continue our journey to healthy beautiful hair.
The next veggie on the list is under B, which will be Beets also known as Beetroot.
I wanted to know the difference between beets and beetroot, here it is:
Healthline.com - "Beetroot (Beta vulgaris) is a root vegetable also known as red beet, table beet, garden beet, or just beet. Packed with essential nutrients, beetroots are a great source of fiber, folate (vitamin B9), manganese, potassium, iron, and vitamin C."
Now that cleared that up nicely, on to the benefits of this one powerful veggie:
BlushyBabe.com – “Beetroot juice for hair growth-Beetroot has vitamins and minerals which can help the growth of hair. It has Vitamin A and C which are great for hair growth. It has potassium which helps to strengthen the hair follicles.”
Blushin.com – “You can use beetroot juice for hair growth due to the large amounts of carotenoids present in it. This helps in better blood circulation in the scalp and nourishes properly the hair follicles from the inside. Beetroots for hair have been known to reduce hair loss as well.”
LifeHealth.com – “As we all know beetroot has a lot of health benefits. But you may not know that nutrients can prevent hair loss also. It has a lot of phosphorus, calcium, vitamin B and C, and protein which critically helps in keeping your follicle healthy and help in growing healthy hair.”
StrandedatHome.com – “Beetroot removes dead skin cells from your scalp and any excess oil protecting your scalp from getting dandruff thus promoting the growth of healthy hair. If there isn’t enough production of oil on your scalp, your hair becomes dry and dead which leads to dandruff. Beetroot prevents dandruff and gives your hair shine.”
BeautyGlimpse.com – How To Dye Your Hair With Beets? – Excellent article if you want to try a natural hair dye for your natural hair with tips, advice, and DIY recipes, hope you enjoy and use it.

So, next time you are out shopping, make sure to pick up some beets and a bit extra as they are extremely great for our hair and overall health and you can find tons of smoothie recipes on Pinterest or other ideas to prepare in meals for you to enjoy.
A HUGE THANK YOU to Healthline.com, BlushyBabe.com, Blushin.com, LifeHealth.com, StrandedatHome.com, and BeautyGlimpse.com for their awesome articles on the benefits of beets and click on the links to read the articles.

Thank you for reading and till next time.
