Hello My Dears,

How are you doing? Hope all is well with you. I am back with updates on my hair journey after about four months, hahaha so this post is way overdue so take a seat, your fav tea or coffee, and come see what am up to now, hahaha, as always, thank you for following my journey. You all have been with me from when I started my Blog up to now, so, please know that is most appreciated on my behalf and a HUGE THANK YOU LOVES!!!!!!!!

Now on to updates:

  • 4C HAIR CARE

My hair is coming along slowly but surely. One thing I have come to learn for sure is that consistency is key. Find what works, stick to it and go about your business, at least in my case, that is what works for my tresses so sticking to that plan, as the saying goes, if it ain’t broke then don’t fix it, hahaha. She loves 2 strand twists done counter-clockwise, I do twist-outs maybe twice a year as she loves to be left alone so I let her be. 💗💗💗

  • 4C HAIR CARE PRODUCTS

These are the 4 Products that I use now, have narrowed them down and these all work well for my tresses:

  1. Cantu Shea Butter – Sulfate Free Cleansing Cream Shampoo – excellent, cleans scalp and hair, leaving that nice clean feeling that you want to get after washing your hair. A little bit goes a long way so I use about a cap-full, apply on the scalp, wash, and voila, Done! Plus the ingredients are not as harsh on tresses.
  2. Tresemme Conditioner – Smooth and Silky works nicely with my hair, use after I shampoo because I usually apply the conditioner then detangle as I go, which works pretty well, as it provides the softness as I go through each section so this is one is a winner for sure and a definite keeper for my hair for good.
  3. Cantu Care for Kids – Leave-in Conditioner – a must for my tresses!!!! As I had said, I love this one because its exactly what my hair texture needs, moisture, and softness, plus missing the harsh ingredients that can damage hair after using for a long period of time, which makes me a happy camper!😍😍😍
  4. Castor Oil USP 100% – For sure a lifesaver and the only oil am now using on my tresses, as this one works best for my tresses. Works on keeping the scalp clean and hair moisturized plus because it is so thick, it remains in for a longer time which is excellent. My one favorite oil now, need to get more.

  • 4C HAIR CARE REGIMEN

So far, so good. Have learned that in my case, the less the better, and my hair will strive. At night, I sleep on a satin pillowcase so which helps retain moisture. When washing tresses, usually add about 3 drops of 100% Essential Mint Oil in the water, to wash and rinse with, which is nice because you can feel your scalp tingling and the mint is antibacterial, which adds to cleansing our scalp and hair, so win-win. I have also been rinsing with Rice Water once a month now,  do believe it is helping with maintaining my hair’s health, brown rice is my preference. Once a week, am continuing to drink a biotin pill, as that is all that is needed in my case, which is also helping in a long way. Of course, eating healthier and drinking lots of water helps all of us in the long run, which is why consistency really is the key to it all, so go for it!!!! Once you find what works, stick to it and succeed!

  • FINAL THOUGHTS:

I will continue my regimen, wash day is once every other week and once styled, am good to go. It works really well and can add accessories if I want a new look, or twist out for special occasions and of course, our scarves!!! As always my darlings, hope you enjoyed it, comment to add any tips or ask any questions at all.
