Hair Recipes to Try – Homemade Aloe Deep Conditioner (Very Moisturizing)

Buenas Bellas,

Simple yet effective.

Many thanks to NATURAL HAIR WOMAN for posting this recipe, please click here to go to her site  :D

* Homemade Aloe Deep Conditioner (Very Moisturizing) *

Ingredients Needed:

  • 1/4 Cup of Aloe Gel
  • 1/4 Cup of Extra Virgin Coconut Oil or Olive Oil
  1. Mix all ingredients well until smooth.
  2. Apply to washed hair and leave it in for 30 minutes under a hooded dryer.
  3. Detangle then rinse thoroughly.

* You can add honey and avocado to the recipe for even more moisture *

5 STAR RATING!!!! Works beautifully on my tresses, not only adds needed oil to strands but the gel helps in the detangling process. You can use it as a leave in, I do, because these ingredients are way too good to wash out and instead of a dryer, just put on a plastic cap then cover with a thick towel, that should generate more than enough heat especially in the summer 😀

❤ Thank you for reading Bellas & to the site, Natural Hair Woman for posting these Jewels

  2. Hey Hun! Question, what kind of Aloe Vera Gel do you use? Is it the same gel used fir sunburn? The last time I bought some I got it from GNC and it was more liquidy instead of gel like. Before I buy more I wanted to clarify.

    • Hi Doll,
For this recipe I use 100% Natural Aloe Vera straight from the plant. If you cannot find it anywhere close, than another option is Fruit of the Earth – Aloe Vera 100% Gel or NO-AD Aloe After Sun Gel, works for me 😀 those work beautifully for my tresses, great hold but no white flakes or that hard gel feeling. There is another one I purchased but have not used yet, when I do, will do a post about how it works 🙂 thanks for asking.
      Smiles!!!
