Hair Recipes to Try – Herbal Egg Conditioner

Hiya Girlies,

😀 Enjoy 😀

Many thanks to NATURALLY CURLY who posted this recipe, link to their recipe can be found here girls :D

* Herbal Egg Conditioner *

Ingredients Needed:

  • 2 TSP of Lemon Juice
  • 1 TSP of Honey
  • 1  Egg
  • 3 Drops of Rosemary Oil
  • 1/4 cup of Almond or Coconut Oil
  1. Add lemon juice and honey to the egg and beat together.
  2. Pour mixture into pot and heat.
  3. Stir until warm and creamy.
  4. Cool.
  5. Add Oils.
  6. Pour on Hair, put on a plastic cap, and leave for 30 minutes.
  7. Proceed to Rinse.

This one sounds great for those who are not protein sensitive. Lemon is a cleanser, honey helps detangle and adds shine, the egg is protein and oils are wonderful for our tresses so she is a winner. Extra tip, add a towel around your neck for when she starts to drip all over 😀

No ratings yet dear will try her out in about 3 months, recently did a high protein treatment so am good for the next 2 months.

❤ Thank you for reading Girls & for Naturally Curly for posting this awesome recipe

  1. I love DIY’s and this one is interesting! When you heat the mix does the egg not cook? When I use an egg I only use egg yolk in order to avoid getting cooked egg whites in my hair when I rinse out my DC. (I have had bad experiences with cooked egg white bits in my hair lol…not fun to rinse out!)

    1. Hi Dear, thanks for the reply. Have not tried this one yet, but I do not think so. Reason is because the egg is mixed with other ingredients so it should just be creamy. If not, then just mix all ingredients and add to hair, cover hair with plastic cap and thick towel, which with simulate natural heat 🙂 Thanks dear, hope it works 🙂
